The past year has been a big one for NHS local. We have gone from being nothing but a dream and a highly fought contract with the West Midlands Stragetic Health Authority to an up-and-running digital service packed with information and opportunities to connect with each other on health issues.

What we learnt about the challenge of being an NHS blogger

There are some who suppose that connecting with people online is a substitute for face to face contact. The truth is that the more we chat to people through tools like blogs and Twitter, the more we look forward to actually meeting the people we are getting to know remotely. Today we held a workshop for our NHS local bloggers, which was delightful because we got to share coffee and talk, in the flesh, with some of our talented team.
