NHS local has created a way of for health and social care commissioners and providers to take part in Healthcare Innovation Expo 2011 online.

Healthcare Expo, developed and supported by the Department of Health is a key event for managers, clinicians, nurses and social care workers in local government to chat, brainstorm and learn about developing services as the NHS is reorganised.

There are more than 150 seminars, 100 speakers and 250 exhibitors concerned with innovation and improving patient care at the event at ExCel, London which runs for two days starting Wednesday, 9 March.

NHS local will be there. We will be:

• doing video interviews with participants
• blogging live
• collating the tweets with the hashtag #hcexpo2011
• posting photographs
