The Government will tomorrow (Thursday, December 17) set out detailed plans for the future of the NHS.

It follows a public consultation on proposals laid out in the White Paper Liberating the NHS that was published in July this year.

Last week the Government announced that a large number of GPs have already come forward to trial the new proposals and to become pathfinders.

The Government will also tomorrow announce detailed financial allocations and set out priorities for the NHS for the coming year.
